Yahoo CEO Has Stepped Down

Jerry Yang, CEO of Yahoo!, has announced that due to public pressure he will step down from his post as CEO as soon as a successor is named.  After several failed business dealings over the last few months, namely the attempted acquisition by Microsoft and the Google-Yahoo advertisement partnership, the board and the shareholders decided they’d had enough.  Yang has stated that he wished to remain in control of Yahoo, but it seems that the pressure was too great for the board to withstand (perhaps they are sick of him as well.)  Hopefully, they will find a replacement that can turn the company around, because they sorely need it.
