In a post titled How Many Hard Drives Do You Have In Your Home Server? the Windows Home Server Team Blog lets us have a look into what the Customer Experience Improvement Program found.

Here are a few highlights:

Largest number of hard drives attached to 1 server: 27

Largest total available disk space: 22TB

Largest total used disk space: 19TB

The program is used, among other things, to see how the server is used and what it can handle. With 29% of the owners attaching at least 4 hard drives, central storage seems to be as important in homes as it is in the corporate world.
