Today Gizmodo claimed that they had a source who said that 155 Circuit City stores in the Midwest are going to close down tomorrow. The reason for this is because the stores in the Midwest aren’t doing so well as they should be. But Circuit City itself is not going out of business because 30% of their income comes from the Western part of the United States so there still going to make a small profit. The source claimed that Circuit City is trying to refocus on the customer: “They are really stressing to us that we must have better customer service than before because they want us to win back our customers”. The source also said that he believes that the stores are closing down because of the current economic situation.
