Apple to cut future Macbooks from aluminum bricks

According to sources around the web including DailyTech, Apple will be machining its new MacBooks entirely from blocks of aluminum.  The cuts will be done with lasers and water jets and will reduce manufacturing costs, weight, and eliminate the need for screws.  An interesting choice at best – but no longer will your MacBook be plagued with screws around the rim.  It should also make repairs much easier, as there will be less parts necessary to remove.
